Lancaster & Morecombe College

 Lancaster & Morecambe College has been providing further education and training on the Morecambe Road site for over 50 years, meeting the needs of our local residential and business communities.

We continue to develop provision in to meet demand, and continue to provide top quality education and training including academic and vocational courses as well as bespoke training packages to meet the needs of businesses across the region. We also offer a range of work based learning opportunities including Apprenticeships and NVQs.

This main site of the College has seen substantial investment and development in the last 50 years, and now incorporates the purpose built Art Block and A-Level and Access Centre, the Library and Learning Centre and the Nursery as well as housing commercial areas such as the Community Sports and Coaching Centre, Sports Medicine Centre, Hair Salon, Beauty Salon, Nail Studio, Award Winning Coulson’s Restaurant, Kingfisher Restaurant, Bistro, Patisserie, Retail Shop, Advantage Travel Centre, and College Canines Dog Grooming Parlour. The commercial areas are all open to the public, and provide quality real work environments to enhance the learning experience of our students.

Situated in the heart of Morecambe town centre, Morecambe Learning Centre is our newly refurbished community education venue offering the latest courses in Skills for Life, ICT and English for Speakers of Other Languages. The fully equipped teaching areas allow students to make the most of the convenient location and update and develop their ICT, numeracy and literacy skills.
