Lockers Park School
Welcome to Lockers Park School
School life at Lockers Park has been going on since 1874. Upon her retirement as a teacher here, Ruth Barden spent many hours cataloguing and preserving the school archives. Her research led to the publication of her book, A History of Lockers Park School.
This interesting book gives an insight into life at Lockers over the 125 years from 1874 – 1999. It includes tales of famous and notorious old boys, Headmasters and staff, the problems of arranging travel home during the Great War!
A Message from the Headmaster
Lockers Park has a spirit of purpose and sense of community of which we are justly proud. We believe that our surroundings and modern facilities, set as they are in 23 acres of beautiful parkland, provide the ideal environment for successful learning and personal development.
We teach a broad curriculum with kindness and care, blending it with the best of the school’s traditions. By the time he leaves, your boy will have been encouraged to be confident both socially and academically and to achieve his best in today’s changing and challenging world.
