Lode Heath School and Sports College is a co-educational comprehensive school for students aged between 11-16 and is maintained by Solihull LEA

The school opened in 1939, is a mixture of traditional and modern buildings. The accomodation compromises
9 Science Laboratories
7 fully networked computer rooms
A Music Departmen housed in its own block
A Modern Learning Resource Centre where students reading and research materials and computers
Classrooms with Intranet, Internet access and some with interactive white boards

We aim to provide wide-ranging opportunities to all our students to engage them fully in both academic and healthy lifestyle activities, which will sustain them in adult life.

We have much to be proud of, but we continue to set ever more challenging targets. The Partnership of Parent, Student, School, Community all working together to create a School with a vibrant learning ethos will enable our ambitions to become reality.
