Somerset College of Arts and Technology

The College started life as the School of Art and Science, moved to Corporation Street as the School of Art [both in the middle of Taunton] at the turn of the century merging with the Technical College on this campus in the early 1970s.

And we have recently invested millions of pounds to keep us in front with more to come.
The buildings and facilities you see today are the result of a multi-million pound investment, an investment that’s enabled us to offer more courses than ever before, attract and retain the best tutors, provide students with the best support services and to provide a place of learning that inspires all who study, work and visit the College.
