Our identity as a Salesian school and the inspiration we receive from St John Bosco shapes our ethos and our spirit and places the individual student at the centre of everything we do.

We have set our sights on being an excellent Sixth Form where everyone is encouraged to aim for their highest personal and academic best in a supportive, encouraging and caring Catholic community.

Around one third of our students come from schools other than Thornleigh and Ofsted inspectors recently said ‘relationships are good and community cohesion is strong’.

We offer our students a good range of A Level courses and Level 2 opportunities in purpose built accommodation.

There is a strong student committee; facilities are good and include a newly renovated common room; and there is a wide variety of enrichment opportunities.
