University of Stirling

The campus-based University of Stirling was founded by Royal Charter in 1967 on the historic Airthrey Estate, close to Bridge of Allan and two miles from the Royal Burgh of Stirling. The University's location and history provide some clue as to what makes Stirling that bit different from other UK universities. Since that time we have grown considerably and we now also have Highland and Western Isles Campuses.

This section provides information about "the Stirling experience" and what it is like to live and study at Stirling. Details are provided on essentials such as accommodation, catering and health care, as well as information on campus facilities and student nightlife etc.
